6.2.12 - Affordable wardrobe for the kids!

I wanted to share this post because I really believe that we don't need to spend a lot of money to dress our children well. There are so many adorable things for a fraction of retail price if you buy used. We buy almost all of the kids' clothes at garage and consignment sales. In doing this, we are able to use the money saved to enroll the kids in activities and do other family things.

This week I went through Isabelle's clothes. She has gone through a growth spurt has almost nothing that will still fit this coming winter. We pulled all of the 4T and some smaller 5T clothes. All of her winter p.j.'s had to go. I was thinking that this may be the year that we have to start buying some things....
....but God always provides!

Yesterday the kids and I were on our way home form eating lunch with Daniel at work, and I decided to swing by a garage sale.

  1. That's great! We totally love buying second hand as well... saves so much money and you can get such good quality, like new stuff! Plus its fun hunting it down :)

  2. Definitely! The hunt just as much fun as getting like new things for so little. Most sales don't have anything or a couple of items, but it's SO worth it when you find one like this one!
