4.30.12 - Week 4

188
Same as last week.
No surprise.
I have been on prednisone for a week, and gorged myself at Lambert's and HuHot.
So, considering, I am happy I didn't gain.

I hope for better success this week. :)

4.29.12 - Chopsticks & Gardening

Tonight we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant, HuHot. Yum yum!
After, we went to hang out with friends and do some gardening.
Our poor garden is looking a little puny after a  surprise frost.
Hopefully the plants will pull through. :D

Meat, broccoli, noodles, tofu, and tortilla. Yummy!

Children's training chopsticks. :)
She is actually quite good with them.

Entertaining John.

One of John's favorite modes of transportation.

Look at those thighs! Pinch pinch pinch.
This was the perfect place to contain John. he was happy playing in the boat for quite a while.

Fierce pirates!

Gardening gloves!
Our gardening "help".

She ended up with dirt on her face and in her mouth. :D

Totally zonked on the way home.

4.28.12 - Nothing cuter than a baby at bathtime

Gotta love cute chubby babies!

Isabelle
John

4.27.12 - Crazy baby Asian hair

Both Isabelle and John were born with a full head of hair.
Crazy all over the place hair.
:D
Isabelle's was much thicker and stuck up in patches in every direction.
John had more of a mohawk.
It didn't matter what we did to try and get it to lie down, we were always unsuccessful.
John's hair began to lie down after a few months.
Isabelle was well over a year before hers was tame.

Isabelle
Isabelle actually lost her hair between 4 and 5 months.

It grew back, just as crazy as before.
I thought it would lie down as it got longer....
Maybe blonde?

Finally, a little after her first birthday!
It started getting really cute when we could do piggies.
Now it is down to her waist.
Long and beautiful!

Mohawk-ish

Sticking straight up!
Starting to lie down.

Adorable little boy hair!

4.26.12 - John's doppelganger...

:D

The adorable wisp of hair and sticky outie ears.
I love this baby!

4.26.12 - Friends & Lovies

Isabelle's friends.

When I was little, I had a favorite doll named Honey Buns. :)
Isabelle started with one Lovie, then added another, then replaced it, then added another....
Each lovie has had about a year span before being replaced.
She has a bunch of "friends" (current lovie, past lovies, and other friends) that she sleeps with every night. They all have a place, and they must be tucked in properly before bed.
It's gotten a little ridiculous, but .... oh well!

By the way, "They are allllll girls."
:D

First lovie: Lambie.
Isabelle got Lambie from her Auntie Rebekah and Uncle Alex for her first birthday.
We made a rule that Lambie stays in bed so she isn't lost.
Lambie is still #1.

When Isabelle was just over a year, we were at Toys R Us, and she fell in love with a lion. We tried to offer her one half the price, but she would have nothing to do with it.
Lion became her "take everywhere" lovie.

The day Isabelle picked Lion out at the store. I'm so glad I got a picture!

I bought Puppy at Walgreens when Isabelle was sick. She immediately dropped Lion and fell in love with Puppy.

<3

Isabelle got Ollie the otter from Grandpa. Ollie has had the longest run as favorite.

Kiss was a valentines day present from Oma and Appa. Isabelle doesn't take Kiss around, but the puppy is one of the five "friends" Isabelle holds while going to sleep at night.
